Yards

All yards and vacant lots in the Township of Uxbridge shall be kept clean and free of:

  • Rubbish or debris and objects or conditions that might create a health, fire or accident hazard
  • Wrecked, dismantled, discarded, inoperative or abandoned machinery, vehicles, trailers, boats and/or other component parts
  • Any vehicle including a trailer or boat, which is in a wrecked, dismantled, inoperative or abandoned condition (unless it is a business or the vehicle is being repaired)
  • Long grass, brush, undergrowth and overgrown trees, which may cause a hazard or unsightly condition out of character with the surrounding area
  • Dilapidated, collapsed or partially constructed structures
  • Injurious insects, termites, rodents, vermin or other pests
  • Dead, decayed or damaged trees or other natural growth
  • Noxious weeds
