2nd Avenue Tree Removal to Commence February-March 2024

The Township, in partnership with Lake Simcoe Regional Conservation Authority, will be removing trees from the meadow area located on the North side of 2nd Avenue, between Rosena Lane & Bolster Lane, in late February/early March as part of a restoration project.

Fundraising for Uxbridge Firefighter Memorial Statue and Garden Receives a Boost from Federal Grant

Plans to install a Firefighter Memorial Statue and Garden are closer to reality thanks to a $213,530 federal grant.  The memorial statue and garden will be installed to honour those who have died in the line of duty or while actively serving and will provide a place for reflecting and a connection to the community.

The Townships of Scugog and Uxbridge are very pleased to announce that the Estate of Marlyn Ruth Rennie has made an extremely generous donation of $1,100,674 to the Uxbridge-Scugog Animal Shelter.
